Bee Vamp - Valium Girls / Lucky Grills / Without Barry in Bengal (1981) Our Eyes Met Across the Disco Floor / Jungle Fever (1982)
From Manchester bestowing great post punk sounds with free jazz flavoring added. Music...isms blog has more info. Valium Girls is a fine example of twisted pop, that found it's way to a Messthetics comp.

New Left - All for You / Show Me Around / People Feel Pain (1985)
A second 7" from The New Left. I put up their first one here. I'd say the first one is the better of the two, but they both have their own charm. Sounds are still what you'd call post-punk. They added a sax player, and briefly moved to NYC from Harrisburg, PA. See the scratched out address on the back cover. Here's another band that had a classic LP in them, oh well maybe there's a demo tape somewhere. I'd love to hear more. The new left is long overdue in this country, if ya know what I mean.
